Skatewing - Designed by yacht winged keel designer Ben Lexcen RIP and Sydney skateboarder Chad Ford, one of the funniest offshoots from skateboarding ever. It was intended to be (as all re-inventions of the skateboard are) the future of skateboarding, thank god they never became popular, this thing is best used as a boat anchor, then again it's no good for that either. RIP 1978-1981. The skatepark is no longer and is now an amusement park, the snake run bowl is the only reminder that a skatepark once thrived on this site and is used for to house a plaster dinosaur. This park was a copy of the Buena vista Skatopia, but instead of brick extensions in the halfpipe, we had vert, towards the bottom of the pipe where it met the bowl, it got pretty gnarly.

Vans Ankle guards - These were a must in the long gone days of the availability of both high top and low top shoes for skateboarding, for those of us that chose low tops back in the day, they basically saved your ankle from the dreaded dog bite from a launched skateboard. These are mint and still in the box - 1977.
Z-Lapper - This lapper was one of the first, it screwed onto the bottom of the deck and was hooked up to the truck via an angled piece of moulded plastic, one gnarly lip slide and this baby was guaranteed to snap, this one is mint.
